Yes, you can! Customise your belt with your choice of leather, width, pattern, thread colours, and metalwork using our interactive Custom Service design tool. You can even add personalised initials to any belt made from our waxed stirrup leathers.

There’s no minimum order for your unique design. For group orders, please contact us directly for discounts. Custom fees are waived for Military/Regiment polo belt designs.

This is currently available online for belts, dog collars and leads, horse browbands and keyrings!

Handmade in our workshop in Argentina, with a production time of 2-3 weeks, plus shipping.  To guarantee delivery in time for Christmas, please place your orders before the dates below.

Yes, we now offer personalised initials on any of our waxed leather belts. You can add two or three embossed initials to the belt of your choice in any of our three waxed stirrup leathers (brown, black or tobacco). This is not currently available on Carpincho and suede leather belts.

Please note this may increase delivery timeframe by 5-10 working days on in-stock items and costs £8 per belt (free with a Custom Design).

We’d be honoured! Over the years, we’ve crafted numerous regimental and military designs, some of which are available to purchase online. We also make donations to various benevolent funds. If you can’t find your regiment, please reach out to us. We’ll gladly create a custom regimental or military polo belt/collar/keyring for you, with no additional custom charge.

We offer a fantastic selection of solid brass and nickel-plated brass buckles in various shapes, all available through our online custom design tool or added to our existing selection of belts. If you have an existing belt or buckle you’d like help with simply get in touch and we’ll be happy to arrange it for you.

Absolutely! We’d be honoured to be part of your special journey. We currently accept PayPal, VISA, MASTERCARD, AMEX and Maestro. You can also use Express Checkout with Link, Apple Pay or Google Pay when using the relevant devices.

We can also process card payment via payment link or by bank transfer. Should you prefer to order with one of these alternative payment methods then please make contact and we will be delighted to sort this out for you.

You can easily change currency between GBP, Euro and USD. Simply click on one of the three icons in the top right side of the page.

Yes, we ship worldwide! Economy shipping is free when you spend £150 or more, or you can upgrade to Express Delivery.

Orders placed with Standard or Economy services will be dispatched the same day if received before 12pm UK time. If you place your order after 12pm it will be dispatched the next working day.  Express Delivery orders will be shipped the same day if placed by 2pm UK time.

Please note that standard dispatch times do not apply to the following:

• International orders may require up to 24 hours of handling time before dispatch
• Special Edition and Custom Designs can take 2-4 weeks to make, plus shipping time
• Some dog collar and lead sizes are made to order, with a production time of 2-4 weeks (as indicated in individual product listings), plus shipping time
• Belt sizes 115cm and above may take 2-6 weeks to produce, depending on length and leather availability, plus shipping time
• Personalised initials on any of our in-stock belts may require an additional handling time of 5-10 days. This does not apply to special edition or custom design belts, which have set production timeframes.

Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive a shipping confirmation email. For international orders, you will also receive an update with shipping status and/or tracking information. Please check your junk folder, as tracking details are often sent directly from the courier or shipping agents (Royal Mail, Parcel2Go, Transglobal Express, FedEx, or UPS, depending on the destination and service selected).

For UK orders, tracking information will be provided directly by Royal Mail or Parcel2Go, either via text or email.

All of our orders are shipped using reliable, insured, and tracked services, ensuring both you and we have added security with proof of delivery.

All our products are handmade in the Estribos workshop in Argentina and then shipped to our UK base. Orders are normally dispatched from the UK, unless otherwise arranged.

• UK deliveries: No duties or additional fees are payable on arrival.
• US deliveries: No duties or customs fees are payable under the current tariff scheme – these costs are already included in the shipping fee at checkout.
• Other international deliveries: Duties or import fees may apply depending on your country’s regulations. Please check local customs guidance, as any charges due on arrival are the responsibility of the customer.

If you wish to exchange an item, we are committed to ensuring our products are worn with pride and want to make the process as easy and reasonable as possible for you. We have no time limit on our exchange policy, and we don’t require a receipt as proof of purchase, as long as the item is in unused condition.

To initiate an exchange, simply return the item to us at the address below, along with a note that includes your full contact details, return delivery address, and the exchange requested. Full exchange information is also included on the flyer packaged with your order.

For international exchanges, please email us in advance for detailed customs, duty, and shipping instructions. If this step is not followed, any import taxes or duties incurred will be passed on to you.

Prefer not to post? Our returns address is a private residence, but we’d be happy to arrange a time for you to exchange your order in person.

Yes, if the item is non-custom stock then of course – simply give them our flyer with their gift and they can exchange it themselves in person or by post! They will not need a receipt and there is no time limit on exchanges as long as items remain unused.

We’re sorry to hear that you’re not completely satisfied with your online purchase. If this is the case, simply return the item to us in its original unused condition within 14 days of receipt, and we’ll issue a refund.

Once we receive the item, we will process a full refund for the cost of the product (excluding P&P). Please allow up to 10 working days for the refund to be processed. If free shipping was applied to your order, the shipping cost will be deducted from the refund amount.

For orders returned outside of the 14-day returns period, we can offer an exchange or a credit note for the value of the order.

Please note that the responsibility for the returned item remains with you until it reaches us. For your protection, we recommend sending the parcel via a recorded delivery service that insures the value of the goods.

If you’re returning items from outside the UK, please email us first to arrange the necessary delivery and customs details. If this step is not followed, any import taxes or duties incurred will be passed on to you.

Refunds are not available for custom items made to your specific order requirements.

When purchasing for yourself or your dog, we recommend measuring an existing well-fitting belt, dog collar, or hat to ensure the perfect size on your first try. For belts and collars, please note that the size listed in centimetres refers to the measurement of the hole you use, not the full length of the product.

If you’re buying a gift, we provide a comprehensive size conversion chart in our Sizing Guide to help you choose the right fit. And don’t worry—our exchange policy has no time limit. We’re happy to exchange any non-custom stock, as long as it’s returned in unused condition.

All of our belts, pet accessories, keyrings and browbands come packaged in a complimentary cotton gift bag.  Made from soft, durable cotton, this eco-friendly bag keeps your goods safe and neatly stored – perfect for gifting or personal use.

The polo belt’s striking look is based on an ancient Mapuche indian design, said to date back 5000 years, called the Guarda Pampa. It was used principally by the tribal elders to convey authority whilst the colours black and red had special significance – nobility and the blood of warriors.

The Mapuches (“Peoples of the Earth” in their language) colonised the far south west of Argentina long, long ago. The lower half of the pattern mirrors the upper half, thus symbolising the reflection of the peaks of the Andes in the lakes.

The gauchos learned a great deal from the Mapuches (including horsemanship and leatherwork) and incorporated the Guarda Pampa in their ponchos, with the variations of patterns and colours coming to represent different geographical areas and communities, very much as the tartans did in Scotland.

This design has continued to be used across many areas of Argentine culture and tradition, including the belts now worn by polo players!
