Fedora – Black Waxed Leather

Crowned our best seller, the all-weather Waxed Leather Fedora is a timeless piece suitable for all walks of life. Handmade in our workshop in Buenos Aires, this hat is made using the finest Argentine waxed leather giving it a buttery yet rugged finish.

With no compromise in look or comfort, we regularly come across customers with their well-loved hats after more than a decade of use. With the right care this fabulous creation really could be with you for life!
On the outside this model features a three strand leather plait with a tear-drop crown and an 8cm brim to protect you against the elements. Along the edge of the brim we have built in a flexible wire, allowing you to mould your hat and add character – ensuring also that it maintains its shape whatever the climatic conditions.

Inside we have incorporated an elasticated band, designed to grip the head while providing maximum comfort!

Our waxed leather hats are designed to withstand all kinds of weather, and are water resistant. All that we ask is that if you have worn it out in the rain, please don’t try to speed dry it in an airing cupboard or on the radiator; leave the hat to dry at room temperature on a hook or upside down to preserve its shape and size.

Our waxed leather hats like a wax or a polish every now and then with any clear leather feed or bees wax polish, this will keep the leather water resistant and well conditioned. At home we use saddle soap!
