Fedora – Black Suede Leather

Presenting our all-weather Suede Leather Fedora in black. Handmade in our workshop in Argentina, this hat is made using the finest Argentine suede to ensure that it stands the test of time.

With no compromise in look or comfort, we regularly come across customers with their well-loved hats after more than a decade of use. With the right care this fabulous creation really could be with you for life!

On the outside this model features a three strand leather plait with a tear-drop crown and an 8cm brim to protect you against the elements. Along the edge of the brim we have built in a flexible wire, allowing you to mould your hat and add character – ensuring also that it maintains its shape whatever the weather.

Inside we have incorporated an elasticated band, designed to grip the head while providing maximum comfort!

Designed to withstand all kinds of weather, our suede leather hats have fine lacquer treatment on the inside and waterproof resin in the seams to keep the water out. All that we ask is that if you have worn it out in the rain, please don’t try to speed dry it in an airing cupboard or on the radiator; leave the hat to dry at room temperature on a hook or upside down to preserve its shape and size.

We have given the suede a scotch-guard so it is rain ready, but this can be re-done a few times a year to keep the leather water resistant and well-conditioned. Our copper wire brushes are ideal for lifting any marks and reviving the suede after a wet winter.
